This presentation will talk about the concept of shifting left – essentially moving resolution back down the IT value chain as close to the customer as possible. I will discuss how to get started with self-service and knowledge management to reduce costs, resolution time frames, and analyst stress. Lastly, I’ll touch on why those are prerequisites for the IT industry’s next big wave of Artificial Intelligence, and its impact on the IT Service Desk.

Jarod Greene joins Cherwell Software with 10 years of IT industry experience at Gartner. During his tenure at Gartner he initially served as a Client Engagement Specialist and ultimately as an ITSM industry analyst. Jarod was responsible for coverage of ITSM processes, organizational structures and enabling ITSM technologies. Jarod has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Trinity College and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
